New Construction

Charleston, SC

The design for this project started with an interesting challenge: Take a small student-built timber frame and turn it into a functioning house. The frame was small, and the lot was tiny, but the end result became an expression of the aesthetics of traditional craftsmanship. With a lot of careful planning, and a little imagination, we created a warm, welcoming space that feels gracious despite it’s small size.
